A skincare routine for dark spots and uneven tone

A routine for dark spots brightens steadily and protects skin from the sun every day, which matters most. Leica's routine uses Rejuvi 'w' Brightening Toner and Rejuvi 'x'-Cell Vitamin C Complex in the morning, Rejuvi 'w' Brightening Serum at night and a weekly Rejuvi Exfoliating Mask, with sunscreen every morning.
Who this routine is for
It is for sun spots, dark marks left after breakouts, and uneven or blotchy skin tone.
Morning
- Cleanse with Rejuvi 'k' Facial Cleanser and rinse with lukewarm water.
- Tone with Rejuvi 'w' Brightening Toner: spritz it onto cleansed skin or apply it with a cotton pad. Use it once a day, preferably in the morning.
- Protect with Rejuvi 'x'-Cell Vitamin C Complex: three to five drops, massaged in briefly.
- Moisturize with Rejuvi 'b' Moisturizing Lotion, a light, non-comedogenic lotion, then follow with sunscreen.
Evening and once a week
- Cleanse with the 'k' Facial Cleanser.
- Brighten with Rejuvi 'w' Brightening Serum, once a day, before moisturizer. It can look yellow or amber, and the color may shift after opening. That is normal.
- Night cream: Rejuvi 'n' Night Cream Normal, massaged in with upward strokes.
- Once a week: Rejuvi Exfoliating Mask, with AHA, BHA and papaya. Leave it on for 3 to 8 minutes, depending on your skin's tolerance. It may tingle but should not be uncomfortable. Rinse well and follow with Rejuvi 'h' Skin Healing Gel. Skip it if you are allergic to AHA or BHA.
The right order, and why sunscreen matters most
Go thinnest to thickest: toner, serum, lotion, then sunscreen as the last morning step. Let the serum absorb before your moisturizer.
The cleanser and the weekly mask both contain glycolic acid, and AHAs can increase sun sensitivity. Daily sunscreen protects your progress; without it, spots come back.
What to expect and the facial that pairs with it
Tone evens out gradually, usually over 8 to 12 weeks of steady use.
The routine pairs with The 75, which starts at $160. Adding a peel brings it to $240 and is a good way to work on uneven tone. Returning clients can also book a stand-alone Simply Gentle Peel, which is $105 for the face. The Simply Deep Peel is not recommended for first-time clients or darker skin tones, as it may cause hyperpigmentation.
